I properly love this bar. I had amazing cocktails supplied at a speed that was appropriate and my partner had a great Bloody Mary. We also watched tv, played PlayStation and generally enjoyed being barflys. I would go here every day if I could.

Prytania Bar is the quintessential destination spot for everything you might be looking for: sexy hairy men, delicious judgemental commentary, booze, and friendship!!!! A must if you are cucking around uptown!!!! 5 stars!!!!!!!!
Whether it's Kurt, Caroline, Peter, or one of the PYTs, I always have a great time when I come here. Maybe it's the view of the guy sneaking a smoke in his hospital gown, or discovering the drinks were a bit stronger than I thought when I fall off the throne in the ladies', who knows- the Prytania never disappoints. If I could rate it 6 stars for also being inclusive and not promoting hate, I totally would.
Never been there but I know folks who hangout there.. they're awesome folks so you should hangout there too because that means you know the true ins & outs of NOLA... go there right now... have yourself a good time �
RIP OFF! Tourist trap - locals know better. Rude people, over-priced imitation New Orleans food. Don't be fooled.
I've always had a great experience here. The bartenders are awesome. The regulars are fun to talk to. It's a laid-back dive.
Great place to have a drink with fantastic staff. A true neighborhood bar!
