Do not let the grass shack exterior throw you, because once inside the continental atmosphere makes the experience unique. The menu features island fish prepared in a light tomato and lemon sauce. The Scaloppini Porcini is a favorite, consisting of tender veal cutlets and island mushrooms. It is a resort restaurant that should be tried at least once. I was shocked when Cafe Portofino forgot my sister's rehearsal dinner was the following day. The owner had to be reminded of the event, menu, and amount of people- All of the things that he confirmed weeks before! Yes, it got pulled together however it added a ridiculous amount of stress and was obvious how unprepared he and his staff were. This is definitely not a place to host an event, party, or function.
Great meal and Fransisco was great as our server. The views are wonderful from their deck.
Absolutely beautiful view of the coast with a harp player and the most wonderful food wine!!! I had the special seafood linguine Best fish ever!!!
Larry Rivera is great so is the food and drink. Looking forward to being there in about 6 weeks!!!
