Had lunch, for Restaurant Week, this afternoon. I must say, it was not at all what I expected. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was warm. The service was on point. The Owners were outstanding. Perfection was all the only word I could find! Thank you for allowing such a beautiful afternoon in mid-town Newburgh. We need more of what you are offering.
My husband and I tried El Solar for the first time tonite (despite being Newburgh natives). Had a wonderful experience, great service and a meal to die for. Loved the menu and particularly enjoyed our choices off the specials menu (flounder fillet in a homemade tomato sauce with olives and capers & pork medallion mashed potatoes with goat cheese)! Scrumptious! Don't know what took us so long and we are looking forward to going back.
Comfortable atmosphere, excellent service, and the best-tasting fish I have ever eaten. Everything was delectable, right down to the dipping sauce for my vegetables.
What a gem we have found in the City of Newburgh. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, even on a chilly night like tonight. The service was impeccable, the owners so attentive. And the food......incredibly good, so rich, and full of flavor. We will definitely be back!
Went here for 1st time this evening to celebrate 17 years to the day and date in the USofA and it was amazing! Food and service were as good as it gets. Thank you Jose and Gisela and looking forward to seeing you again for flamenco night on the 23rd.
