Stopped by on a Tuesday night with a couple friends after work and the place had this cozy, low key vibe that made it easy to just sit and chat for an hour. The lavender latte was honestly the best one I've had in Vancouver, not too sweet and perfectly balanced. Staff were friendly and didn't rush us out even though we lingered past closing-ish time near 9pm. Already planning to bring the rest of the crew back for a proper weekend hangout.

Stopped by here last weekend after soccer practice with the kids and the staff were so patient while my two argued over which muffin to get. The blueberry scone ended up being the real winner and my daughter is still talking about it. It's a small space but they squeezed us in near the window without any fuss, which we appreciated with a stroller in tow. Definitely our new go-to for a quick coffee run when the kids need a treat.

Interesting decor and a decent selection of board games. I liked that they sell day old pastries at 50% off. The grilled cheese seemed like it was a small portion of store-bought bread and cheese, though.

We stopped by Cafe Duello a couple weeks ago while wandering around Vancouver and ended up staying almost two hours just soaking it in. My husband raved about the cortado and I had a really solid almond croissant, the kind that still had a bit of warmth to it. The staff were patient with us as we fussed over the menu and even pointed us toward a good walking route afterward. It's a small, cozy spot but it never felt rushed, which we appreciated as a couple of retirees who like to linger over our coffee.
