Don't waste your time with Café du Monde. The beignets are funnel cake, the coffee is ordinary, and if it's even slightly windy, you'll end up looking like scarface.
I went, I saw, it was fun, it was easy going, I loved everything about it! The beignets were warm and moist and the cafe was good!
The beignets are fresh, delicious and piping hot. The coffee is nothing to write home about, however. But overall they made a nice combo.
Great place if you are only looking for coffee or beignets! This place is CASH ONLY!!
