Don't listen to the negative reviews, the service is all a part of the experience! I have been coming here my whole life, and a trip isn't complete without a stop in to the Cafe.
Go early!A day when you aren't hungover.If you're there before 9 AM, the service is fast, and the place is clean.
Try it once, and let it go. Nobody wants to be there, nobody wants to wait on you, and you're only going there to get your money's worth from a pastry. Coffee's not that great.
Totally not worth it. Beignets were good, but service slow and rude. Go to your State Fair! Infinitely better!
Use the free glass of water to dip your sugary fingertips after munching on the beignets!
They only have sweet n low and sugar. If like splenda or equal need to bring your own
Skip the morning crowds, late night beignets and coffee with 1/2 the tourists.
All you need: excellent coffee and delicious beignets
Rude staff, expect a long wait at the to go window.
