lovely house red perfect italian restaurant in a perfect neighbourhood. pretty hard to get parking around htere. but good food and great ambiance
North Beach Cafe Divine is a good place to come and eat when you are in North Beach. I really liked the food, the atmosphere and the prices... the waitress was a bit slow. Everyone in our party decided we would come back for our weekly weekend dinner out.
Great, All Around! – My husband and I stumbled in here last night for dinner and were greeted with great food, decent wine list, live music, impeccable service and a new place to make a regular spot when we are in North Beach. The fig app was to die for! You will not be disappointed.
Best Dinner Date – Cafe Devine Is a great place to eat. I had a wonderful date there this weekend. She had recomended this place; and I had heared of it before, but had never been. The retaurant was full and right away a waiter greated me and sat me at the bar. While I waited, I sipped a glass of wine, and listened to this guy and this lady playing guitars. this is one of the best finds in the city! good food, friendly staff, the right prices, in a beautiful space overlooking washington square in north beach--what's not to like? great coffee from their awesome espresso machine starts a delicious breakfast (the bennies from heaven are just that...). great spot to sit outside with the pooch on a sunny day with a sandwich or salad ( the turkey and bacon on their own foccacia, or the arugula with beets and goat cheese are my faves), or dig some live music at night with a fine, fine... read more
Great spot for Sunday Brunch – Walked by and figured this great looking spot would be $12 or so for breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised to spend only about $7. I had the quiche of the day and my partner had the waffle with bananas. Both were fresh and light. The lattes and mimosas were both excellent. We sat right at the front window and had a great time people watching. The space itself is full of light with huge windows and high ceilings. It's the perfect space you want to be in to start a weekend day.
nice neighborhood spot in busy N Beach – Went Fri evening 6:30 where our friend was holding court. Simple menu and foods that are quite reasonable. Most of the tables were gone by 7, so i don't know how it's like to get a table. but homey and down to earth in a busy area. Lamb Lentil stew was just ok, but i like the spot and relaxed atmosphere. Weird thing, there is a safe in the restroom.
