Ray is so knowledgeable in his coffee craft! There is counter service, but it’s more of an *experience* than your run-of-the-mill joe joint. Would highly recommend.

f you're a coffee nerd or you're looking to try new roasts, I highly recommend this place. I stopped in at Cortez Coffee this afternoon expecting to dash in and out, but I got sucked into a long and interesting conversation with Ron, who owns and operates the place. He knows tons about coffee (the science of roasting, the coffee industry, etc.) and is eager to discuss it. He also kept offering me free samples of his roasts, which were all tasty.
