Cafe Blue is a classic seafood restaurant and oyster bar, now with locations in downtown Austin across from the Austin Convention Center and in the Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave. Aquatic blue lighting gives the feeling of being in a tropical paradise, and in an Austin-casual atmosphere. Our menu is a celebration of coastal cuisine from around the world, featuring fresh seafood, classic seafood entrees and special creations found nowhere else.

The Thai mussels were spectacular. We had several appetizers, dinner and dessert and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend this place.
A neighborhood gem for the Hill Country Galleria area folks - great seafood (and steaks), great service and wine down Wednesdays are exceptional - literally EVERY wine on the wine list is 1/2 price, not a limited selection like most places.

This is my "go to" restaurant in the Lakeway area. Great, friendly staff, excellent service, wide varied menu with fresh oysters, seafood, and something for everyone, (and a good wine selection!) Pete Clark and his team have done an excellent job. Don't expect high end cuisine and white tablecloths, but this lovely place with atmosphere really beats the competition.
Best Blue Crab-cakes I have ever tasted! Fried shrimp is great.
