Enjoyed a fabulous dinner Saturday evening. The Soft Shell Crab Appetizer was excellent, as was the Crabmeat Ravioli and the Flounder Special. The "Duck Fat Sazerac was sublime, and I suggest you don't leave without sampling the "Dark Chocolate and Peanut Butter Terrine!" A wonderful evening overall.
Fantastic service, excellent food and unique atmosphere. We came here on a recommendation for dinner and were impressed! The friendly bartender even bought our drinks at the bar because we waited a few minutes more than 5 for our table (we weren't even upset about it!) Not very close to the action of New Orleans.
Great food, awesome service from the lovely hostess to our server!
What a great place. The brunch was excellent! Definitely a place to visit when in Nola!
Amazing food, perfect atmosphere and ambiance, great service, best Bloody Mary bar, quintessential New Orleans experience without feeling like I'm in a tourist trap. My first time was brunch on Labor Day but I will be taking my family and friends when they visit me here. HIGHLY recommend!
!!!Bloody mary bar!!! and the best brunch food I have had in a very long time. They know how to layer a plate and poach an egg. Plus, the coffee was excellent. This will a must-stop every time we are in Nola. Next trip, we will definitely make it a point to come back for dinner! Thank you for a great experience!!
From the moment I walked in until the moment I left I was treated like a guest in someone's home. Air turned up, water glass filled, and food brought to my table. Fried green tomatoes were the lightest fried anything I have ever tasted. Fresh. Perfection. Didn't think you could top that, but then my entree came out. Shrimp and grits. I took my first bite. Closed my eyes and thought, I want to remember this moment for the rest of my life! I mean it. It was that good. Thank you!
My wife & I came here on a recommendation from a friend for dinner. We loved it so much we came back the next morning for brunch. Definitely make a reservation. Great cocktails & food. Menu is small but packs a nice punch. Very fulfilling, savory, and the plates are large enough of share if you are not super hungry. Lots of locally sourced ingredients. If you are in the New Orleans area you must try & make it here.
I randomly ate here for my birthday with my Hubby last Saturday night. The cocktails at the bar was nice and the service is everything you'll expect from a place in Nola. I was under the impression that this was a classic creole place to eat but was given what I can only understand as "fusion" style dinners. I ordered the truffle chicken breast with mashed potatoes, greenbeans and mushrooms. Everything was layered in a bowl that had a tomato soup like sauce all over the veggies topped with what to me was a whole fried hen no... read more
