Never stay again, Very dissatisfied This place claims to be beach front. I stayed with four small kids and couldn't of had a worse experience. It took fortyfive minutes to check in with reservations. Too many people in lobby. Manager couldn't find our rooms. Night time desk clerk "grant" was so rude. Will never stay there again. Tried to cancel my reservation and got zero refund. We booked five nights stayed one and moved to the Hilton Down the street. Cost me over $1500.00 I wouldn't even give them one star but citsearch do... read more

Good location, good sized accommodations This is a great location, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and more. The one-bedroom suite was good sized, and the kitchenette allowed me to warm up dinner leftovers or have breakfast while getting dressed. The staff here is friendly and helpful and knowledgeable of the area. They have a free shuttle if you don't want to do too much walking.
Can be pricey, but it's comfortable This property has a great location. Also, overall it is in good condition. It's one of the few properties I visit where when I check in I make sure they understand what I reserved and what I expect when I get to the room. I say that because the rooms are of many sizes, and when I'm going to stay in a hotel for a week or longer I do not want to feel cramped. Suites have kitchens, and are comfortably furnished. It's a good deal, especially for families.
Comfy, Cozy, Affordable I stayed at Homewood Suites on a visit to my Mom with my girlfriend and daughter. The staff was very accomodating, with a breakfast every morning and stuff for my daughter to do while we were in the hotel. They have a very nice pool and some great outdoor activities as well! I would recommend this extended sty hotel to any one traveling to the Warwick, RI area!
Excellent place for a long stay This is a very nice hotel. We lived here for 3 months with 2 children, and it couldn't have been nicer! They serve breakfast and dinner to all guests (included in the price of your room) and there is a gym and pool on site. They have kitchenettes, with a stove top, microwave, refridgerator and dishwasher. The maid service comes in every day and cleans, puts fresh linens on the beds, and removes any trash or excess dishes you have from the dinning room. The Hunt Room Although I have never stayed at the Desmond, I have attended several work conferences, classes, going away lunches and have been here for their deck events. The food and the service in all cases was good. I have yet to try their Sunday Brunch. I would like to some time based on the lunches and dinners I have had here. The Desmond I have stayed here a few times while visiting friends and I always have a great experience. We love the bars in the hotel and the staff is always very nice. The decor in the rooms is a bit dated but it is very clean.
Always a good choice I have stayed here while traveling for business numerous times. The service is very good, rooms nice and clean and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. The meeting rooms and service for a meeting are excellent. Restaurant good.
