Always went to the Hendersonville location and decided to try Gallatin. Food and service was great as usual. The Gallatin location has much more seating. The dining area is much larger with high ceilings. Special needs visitors may be overwhelmed by the space and acoustic attributes.
Best steak and eggs in Nashville.
The food was just okay. We had the 2-egg breakfast with bacon grits and toast for $12, and coffee for $4. The scrambled eggs seemed like they were probably made from the liquid egg carton mix and were a little overcooked. The grits were good, but we could not use the "butter" because it was "48% vegetable oil" and the rest was trans fats and synthetic ingredients. My wife and l went there for breakfast and both enjoyed the "Egg and meat" choice which is the first item on the menu. $12 each + $4 each for coffee.
A busy place is a good sign it's worth waiting for, and Cafe 393 did not disappoint. From the less than 5 minute wait, to the great selection of breakfast and lunch offerings, to the politeness and friendliness of the staff, and food cooked to my liking, we couldn't have had a better experience! Thanks for giving us another choice of a great restaurant in the area!
