Nice little cafe across the tracks from the train station in historic Sanford. The lunch menu is a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, and soups. For lunch, my wife had the Asian Salad and I had the Santa Fe Salad. Very tasty. Our first time at Cafe 121 and it has become our favorite in Sanford. The waitress told us that the Saturday brunch is crowded around noon, and reservations are best way to be assured of getting in. During the week, the cafe is open for coffee but no breakfasts are prepared.
Very tasty wheatberry sandwiches – Had the Monte Cristo with sweet potato fries. Fried were hot but sandwich which was grilled was cold. It was tasty though. Water and soda was refilled without asking but I had to ask for more hot water for my tea (she forgot about me). Portions were big - I took half of my lunch home. Would love a half sandwich and soup or salad option.
