I had a very disappointing and frankly insulting experience at the Café Zupas in Blaine. After placing my order at the kiosk, I chose not to tip at that point, intending to leave a tip at the checkout tab—which I did. However, I felt immediately judged and looked down upon, as if my tipping choices were being scrutinized. That alone was off-putting. To make things worse, I was given no utensils with my meal. I tried the Golden Curry Protein Bowls and liked it. Ordering is unique here in that the bowls have standard ingredients and adding something is an additional cost. That cost was reasonable, in my opinion. The Curry Bowl was only $11.99 and the serving was generous. The great thing is, you can select from a nice variety. I’d heard that their custom-made juice blends are exceptional. And they must be – all canisters where empty. I’ll try them next time. I'm not typically one to leave reviews, as I have worked at restaurants/fast food-type places before, but when I went in just a few days ago, Monday, March 26th, one of the workers, who must have been the supervisor of the day, was extremely rude and very unprofessional. When I arrived, I was just getting the Dubai chocolate-covered strawberries. I have gotten them plenty of times.
