This issue began worsening in 2025 and has now escalated out of control. The communications system is horrible. I've been trying for two months since my last visit to use the two X-ray referrals given to me by the Doctor in early June, which expire in 90 days at the insurance company. It's now mid-August. The communications system is not allowing me. I have made 17 phone calls and spoken to two dozen people, and I cannot get the referrals properly formatted. i have no idea why but everytime I have an appointment I'm always waiting an hour in the exam room for my doctor. long wait times
There is such a blatant disregard for patients here it's astonishing. It takes 20 minutes to reach anyone on the phone no matter when you call, there is always a 20-minute wait. Sometimes right when you're about to be the next caller, the line disconnects and you have to start all over. Once you finally do get through and ask to speak to a nurse or doctor, it's impossible. First visit yesterday; clean office, well attended, saw the doctor swiftly, was very thorough for an introduction to establish care. One hiccup in that the receptionist did not record my insurance card but it was quickly reconciled by the customer service on MyChart. Will followup with next visit.
