I had an oil change scheduled at 2:00pm and asked to have a key made while I was there. Was told the key would take about an hour to program. I assumed I’d be there for a couple of hours. Three hours later, I receive the bill. I was charged $250 labor for key fob. Is that what Chevy charges for one hour’s worth of labor? My oil change was $100, which seemed reasonable.
