Last year I had my Buick towed to Cadillac of Memphis, they had done extensive repairs on it over the years. But this time they told me that they did not work on cars that were over 10 years old. I needed to take it elsewhere even though I had it on a tow truck in their parking lot. I ultimately had it repaired a Chuck Hutton Chevrolet. They were prompt and responsive. No problems with the age of the vehicle. Now Cadillac of Memphis wants my oil change business.
I would never recommend Cadillac of Memphis to anyone solely based on their service department. I dropped my car off for repair on September 30, as of today, I’ve gotten no updates or responses to my numerous outreach attempts. I keep getting the run around. They tell me Will is the service manager should speak with, but apparently he’s going to work and not doing his job properly. I have went up there and called. How is this place an authorized Cadillac service center? Is this what has become of the Cadillac brand? The service is ridiculously expensive, and then without disclosing in advance, they charge an extra 3% for using a credit card. What do you want people to do? Bring in thousands of dollars in cash? Accepting credit card payments and paying the transaction fees is an expensive doing business. If you can’t afford to do it, please close up shop.
