At Cactus Flower Cafe our food, salsas and sauces are made FRESH, twice daily. No animal fat is ever added to our beans. We use only chicken breast meat and all our beef is 100% certified angus. Our sauteed items are made with extra virgin olive oil, and only canola oil is used for our fried items. Not your typical Mexican fare. Upscale gourmet. Prices good for rhis quality of food. Can get very crowded on Friday nights.
My favorite relaxing getaway--great food, great atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend the queso bites on the appetizer menu, because it makes a great small meal.

Incredible Food! Delicious beyond words! – I hesitate to call this Mexican because most of it in Pensacola is so bad, but THIS PLACE IS AMAZING FOLKS! FRESH – Their food is always fresh and good. Order the guacamole and they will make it tableside. And the sangria is delicious - it is a must order!
Best Mexican in town – Finally! A terrific place in Pensacola to get real Mexican food. Actually, it's more of a California style Mexican. There are actually unique dishes and specials. All the other "Mexican" restaurants sell the same old bland food. The Cactus Flower is owned by an ex-migrant worker, a real Mexican-heritage woman. The location is unremarkable, but the ambiance is nice. I recommend reservations at the most popular eating times, especially on weekends, but they're not required.
