Just got back from our trip at Goldenrod cabin in Kirkfield and overall the stay was great. The pros first. Finding our cabin was very easy. The cabin itself was clean and everything was as outlined. Check in was seamless, no issues. We didn't use the private dock but the shared one was perfect for us. The cons. The cabin, while very clean, is starting to show signs of wear and tear, so there is some need for maintenance. Fifth time we have used this hotel to base ourselves in Downtown Toronto for a few nights. Great location to explore all visitors attactions as well as the waterfront and shopping areas. 5 minute walk from Union station, where we get the UP express train from and to the airport. We were on the 46th floor which gives a great view across the city. Room was well appointed, had everything we needed and is serviced by housekeeping daily, which is getting less and less common.
