My contractor had two big requests after sitting down with Cabinet Depot for over an hour: 36" for the sink, and 2" clearance to the right of a 36" opening for a total of 38" for the fridge. Cabinet Depot made unannounced modifications to the plan, so that our sink could not be properly mounted in the 32" cabinets, and my right fridge door does not open all of the way since there is only 36.75" of clearance.
