If the guacamole isn’t the reason you go to Cabeza Grande, it’ll definitely be the reason you come back. The guacamole here is unreal—fresh, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. It’s that ideal balance of creamy and chunky, with just the right hit of lime and salt. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are in every bite. Honestly, it might be some of the best guac I’ve ever had. Everything else we tried was great, but the guacamole completely stole the show. If you’re in Canmore, do not skip it.
My spouse and I were underwhelmed about the food given the price point BUT the service was great.
