Cabana always offers great food, fantastic views and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu highlights are the Boomboom Shrimp, Grilled Cajun Shrimp Skewer and of course, the Cabana Burger (biggest burger we have seen in a long time!) Weekend evenings are enjoyable out at the Tiki bar with live music, appetizers (Pretzel bread sticks and cheese dip are amazing) and yummy drinks!
Too Rude for Service – My husband and I went down to the Cabana on the River for a drink and food Friday evening. The four people at the hostess's stand very rude. We were standing there for a period of time and was not greeted. They didn't even made eye cotact until I said something to them. Dont waist your money – This place is fantastic if you want a beautiful scenic view overlooking the Ohio River and Northern Kentucky. Very casual atmosphere. Nice place to watch a sunset while having a casual drink or dinning. They just added a new bar in the front… It kind of has a resort bar feel to it, but the parking lot takes away from the image… HOWEVER TRUTH BE TOLD… outside of the “flair” to the atmosphere, the food and drinks are WAY OVERPRICED. Great food, friendly people and fun atmosphere! – If you are not seeking upscale dining, this is the place to be. My mother and I were looking for a place to eat before heading back to Indy, and decided to stop and take a look at the first restaurant in sight. After walking in, we new instantly that this would be a fun place to eat. Great food, nice people and a fun place to watch the boats go by and the beautiful sunset.
Great atmosphere! – A beautiful relaxing view of the ohio river mixed with friendly service and good food.
Good Entertainment – We had a birtday party of about 30 people and the band was great and so was our server Julie. The owner also bought our group a round of drinks and alot of bar owners or managers don't . Well we will all be back and just so you no we travel all together to party and eat. service and food bad – i have had nothing but lousy service and food that is either overcooked or too greasy. the menu is limited, and the owners/staff always seem more interested in talking among each other rather than waiting on customers. there is no value other than the view. the cabana is way overpriced as far as the quality of the food and service.
Make sure you order the fish! It is excellent. Great place to hang out and watch the boats on the Ohio River.
Horrible service and rude. – I found a finger nail in my food and the waitress questioned me as if I was lying. The service has always been awful but the food is not all that great either.
