It was...okay. We went to this restaurant in light of our 21st anniversary, so we were hoping for a great time. While the menu and offerings are tantalizing, and portions are good and large, there is just one massive problem: no modifications. Amazing rigatoni con coda alla vaccinara (pasta with braised bone-in oxtail)! Highly recommend. Also ordered the prosciutto burrata pizza. That was a bit salty and burrata is melted underneath the prosciutto so you can’t really tell it’s there.
Waitress was clueless and didn’t know the menu. Pizza I ordered had scarce toppings despite asking for more (willing to pay extra).
One of the best meals we had in California. The restaurant has a warm and inviting feel. Make sure to get a reservation as tables seem to fill up quickly. The homemade pasta was perfectly Al dente and the ox tail was so tender. We loved every food item from start to finish - the only thing we didn't like was the limonchello (which you just shouldn't order here).
