Our 11 year old pup started clearing her throat on 7/27/20. By 7/30 it was a cough and she was diagnosed with aspirated pneumonia by our vet in Augusta, GA and put on an antibiotic. By 8/1 (Saturday), her breathing was labored. We took her to the local ER vet hospital (BluePearl in Augusta). She was there for 36 hours, with the only valuable thing we learned in those 36 hours being that she didn’t have aspirated pneumonia. I love C-Vet Animal Hospital! Dr. Chang and his staff are great. You can tell that he really cares about the animals. And, his prices are so reasonable. He provides you with an estimate so you are never surprised by cost, and he always seems to keep cost in mind (which I never found as a quality in previous vets).
