Our 11 year old pup started clearing her throat on 7/27/20. By 7/30 it was a cough and she was diagnosed with aspirated pneumonia by our vet in Augusta, GA and put on an antibiotic. By 8/1 (Saturday), her breathing was labored. We took her to the local ER vet hospital (BluePearl in Augusta). She was there for 36 hours, with the only valuable thing we learned in those 36 hours being that she didn’t have aspirated pneumonia. Awesome place. Little to No waiting. Dr. Chang was awesome. They show u the cost before they do anything and he Explained everything. I’m so glad I came here.
Dr. Chang, his wife, and staff are all very friendly and personable. One time my dog was sick on Memorial Day with lots of diarrhea, and only emergency vets were open. However, Dr. Chang recommended that I bring my dog in right away. He opened the clinic on his off day just to see my dog! He said if there were any infections then it was best to start meds that day instead waiting until the following day for my dog to be evaluated (which was what I was planning on doing since only emergency vets were open). Dr. Chang is very experienced, knowledgeable, passionate vet.
Best Vet ever! Nothing like the big overpriced bet companies. We switched and it was the best decision. Dr Chang really cares about the families.
We are so glad to have found a great vet so close. We’ve been bringing our kitten, Finlay, to Dr. Chang for a year now and we’re very happy with our decision! The staff is very kind and friendly. The building has a welcoming vibe that pets seem to pick up on. Dr. Chang explains things and gives you an estimate before doing any procedures, which is very appreciated.
I love C-Vet Animal Hospital! Dr. Chang and his staff are great. You can tell that he really cares about the animals. And, his prices are so reasonable. He provides you with an estimate so you are never surprised by cost, and he always seems to keep cost in mind (which I never found as a quality in previous vets).
