Just left the store at 560 W 125th St, New York, NY 10027 the workers are racist. If you are not Hispanic they act as if they don't see you standing there. I was literally frequenting this store every day until I was reminded of my color... I went for a sandwich something that takes all of one minute to make but when I arrived both men behind the counter were Hispanic, there was a lady there ordering as if the store belonged to her, but I later realized why. The manager was so rude and would ignore my complaints and questions that I had about a specific product.
You continue to disappoint, alas: not only have you introduced items that I wanted to purchase and then discontinued them, but you have misled me about when, and even whether, they'll be available; on several occasions, I was promised that an item would be restocked on a given day, and it wasn't. Your service is also lacking in other ways: on at least one evening, I was walking by before your posted closing time of 9 PM, and all the gates were already down. Always has what I need, the staff is super friendly, and the produce is both great quality and reasonably priced. One of a few markets in Jersey City (not on Newark Ave) to have reliably fresh cilantro.
+amdg+ Love shopping with them, love the delivery service, love their customer service, love their sales. I will usually stock up when they have a good sale and they accommodate me when I place the order ahead of time and schedule to later pick up. Even the produce has always been exceptional! +pax Christi!+
STAY AWAY: This overpriced store price gouges poor minority customers of Journal Square. Smelly meats are repackaged until sold. Rotten produce sold along with the fresh. My friend lodged a complaint to this manager of this C-Town Supermarket in Journal Square about being racially profiled by his part-time moonlighting/over-paid JERSEY CITY COP (s). And this manager thought the complaint was funny. I hope the manager finds this review equally funny..
