I would stay away from this company. In less than a year our driveway started cracking, lifting, and sinking. When I called them their first response was "We dont have an account with you, with have an account with the builder " That right there shows the kind of business this is. I reacted like anyone would after spending 8k (12k total) and was able to get someone out here to look at it, which ended up being a complete waste of time. Poor quality work. The driveway was install without a proper base and is sinking and crumbling. After many request they just said it wasn’t there best work, but they wouldn’t fix it.
We had 4 bids for our driveway - and of the 4, C&S appeared to be the most knowledgeable and confident in the approach to take as there were a few challenges. When it was time to rip up the old driveway, the team showed up at the scheduled time, spoke with us to confirm, made the proper adjustments based on drawings etc, spoke with us and assured our neighbors (who have an adjoining driveway) of the process and what was going to happen and executed all very well. Excellent work with great family owned customer service!
The driveway has vertical and horizontal ridges and lines. At the intersection of these ridges and lines, there are small holes. These holes will collect water and cause cracks. When I spoke with one of their staff about this, he agrees that it would collect water and crack but he said all houses they do have such ridges. He said he would ask his foreman to speak with me but the foreman never stopped by. They left with a low quality product which wont last more than a winter. Absolutely not recommended!
