Dr Blake treated my mother for several years. His kindness and compassion are matched by his expertise, and he carefully monitored my mother's glaucoma condition, helping her save her vision almost until she passed away at the age of 98. His many interventions were nothing short of miraculous, and our family will always remember this great doctor with gratitude.

An exceptional doctor! I do not say this lightly. Dr. Blake made my first visit to an ophthalmologist a very pleasant one. He listened to my concerns, gave very good advice and was very amiable. He also was extremely thorough in the care he provided. He is an asset to UF Health! Dr. Blake, his resident intern Sam, my care team and the staff at the check in desk are positive examples of what a staff at a medical facility should be -pleasant, helpful, and efficient. UF Health did well this time.

Dr. Blake has been treating my 10 year old son since he suffered a severe eye injury almost two years ago. He is the most kind and compassionate doctor I have ever met. At one point we were told by a pediatric retina specialist that we should give up on my sons eye, but Dr. Blake encouraged us to keep trying and helped us find a retina specialist who would work with us. Dr. Blake is the most caring and competent Doctor I have had. He truly cares for his patients and goes out of his way to almost dailing communicate with his patients. The staff at the U of F Eye Center is one of the best also. If you're a glaucoma patient, you need to be under his care.
