I typically go to a different store for coffee, but they’ve made changes and I decided to try a new spot. Everything I ordered was quite good (list at bottom), the price itself was comparable to other options; although the pastries were a bit pricey. Likely due to the special collaboration they do on weekends (independent bakery). They have rotating menus and great options (never seen hojicha with its own list!) and interesting flavors. My fav! The banana viet iced coffee is the BEST. It can get busy but they get through the line and dish out drinks pretty quickly.
Sea salt hojicha was a great choice.
Stopped by over the weekend while driving up to Sac. It was fairly busy but staff were working hard and got drinks out pretty quickly. My friend got a double shot matcha which they loved as it was strong and not too sweet. I'm not personally a matcha person so I opted for a viet coffee with creme brulee topping. The drinks were great and staff were nice. Would definitely stop by again if in the area!
I recently ordered a strawberry matcha and asked if a little extra strawberry could be added. However, when I received my drink, about half the cup was filled with milk and strawberry puree, which overpowered the matcha flavor entirely. I kindly brought this to staff attention and explained that there was too much puree, making it difficult to taste the matcha.
