This review is before I even taste the food, the older lady behind the counter whom I was told was the sister is rude. This was my first time patronizing this BLACK business and will be my last based on her attitude. I tell you this is why it is so hard to support us. I chose to spend my money here and could have gone any other place and brought two plates totaling over $60. My advice would be get a more pleasant person behind the counter. I won't be back regardless of how the food taste just based on that one experience

If you want a home cook meal that makes you think about your grandma, go to CJ's. You will not be disappointed. The food is well seasoned and always friendly atmosphere.

Frist time at this location. Setup made it easy to fix your dinner. Selection of meat for a Sundays Dinner was not that great. Door greeter was very friendly, however older lady behind corner wasn't. Being my frist time there i didn't know what came with the meal. She spoke to me like I should've know everything. I think the place is over priced. I had pig feet, lima beans n corn bread ($15) and my plate wasn't full. You had to find the meat because everything in the container was mostly bones. Lima beans was on point as wel... read more
