C & E performed a septic inspection and pumping on the septic system in our recently purchased home (02/2025). During the inspection/pumping, the tech failed to clear the inlet baffle. As a result, our home flooded with sewage on 11/29/25. We had to call out an emergency plumber to figure out the cause. The plumber who fixed it stated that there is no way in less than a year a baffle would fill to this extent of tree roots and sludge - stating it likely was not cleared when the initial inspection/pumping was done by C & E.
