Dr Howe did my colonoscopy roughly 18 months ago. Afterwards, as he was walking towards me, and i was still under anesthesia, I asked him where the blood was coming from. This sorry excuse for a man threw his hands up, said "I dont know, see you in three years!" I went on having tests done trying to find out where the blood was coming from. My husband and I are patients of Dr. Howe. He has been thorough and we have no complaints.
He never told us to follow up with him after my husband's procedures and diagnosis of Celiac. We finally called for an appointment. When I asked him if he could advise us concerning diet and perhaps a Celiac support group, he said that he did not know he had Celiac. My husband's PCA sent him to Dr. Howe because his test results indicated severe Celiac. We are ISO a new GI MD.
He is an excellent physician, got an appointment quickly, listens to your problem, and gets to the bottom of the problem. He does not talk a whole lot but what he says is important and helpful.
Was able to be seen in the office the next day. He listens well!
