I moved to Minnesota (MN) to go to Mayo Clinic for a rare form of blood cancer. Where I'd lived before, the doctors didn't know how to help me. At Mayo, I was assigned to Dr. Carl Christopher Hook, a hematologist/oncologist. During the shutdown in March 2020, Mayo closed its doors and Dr. Hook abandoned me; stopping all of my care abruptly.
