My husband and I both work with busy schedules so taking time out means getting a babysitter and making a real effort. Oceans Cut as anything but upscale. The interior gives you the impression of eating in a recreation center dining room or old club. The food was average, at best. The waiter had a very tough time explaining the menu. I ordered fish which was extremely bland and my husband had steak which tasted like any chain food restaurant steak. Worst part being we ended up with a huge bill. We had a beautiful evening at Ocean Cut. From the moment we stepped inside the door our experience was made very special by Matt Moore and his friendly staff. The food was excellent and the service first class! We will definitely be back and will highly recommend Ocean Cut as a top class restaurant to visit while in Chicago. Got to love the Irish hospitality!!!
