Beware of this place!!! I ignored the reviews of bed bugs thinking that they surely had fixed that problem if they had it. We just moved my grandmother out of CC Young. They were constantly neglecting her. We would find her room soiled for days as well as her clothes dirty. When we removed her, we found bed bug bites all over her that the nurses had to have seen and didnt say anything to us. Save yourselves & your loved ones.
This is a short review of private duty nursing at CC Young. My wife suffers from normal pressure hydrocephalus, and that means I sometimes need help caring for her. The CNAs who've worked with us are uniformly excellent, professional and empathic. After a while they seem more like family members than outside staff. I highly recommend their services.
Our patients are very happy at CC young. We look forward to providing Primary care and Geriatric services to CC young residents.
My husband was there for 20 days and the care was outstanding. He has a purée diet and he received the same meal as everyone else, just in a manner he could swallow. Facility was very clean and extremely attentive. Would highly recommend!
My mom has lived on campus for 13 years. First in independent living for 10 years and now in assisted living for the last 3 in the Hillside. Top notch community with top notch employees. Shout out to the exceptional staff: Robert Surko, Charletha, Winnie, Saba (her favorite caregiver), Nena Paris, and her campus doctor-Dr Grady Goodwin. These amazing people take such great care of her in their own unique ways and make her happy. And when Mama’s happy, I’m happy!
