Customer service/front admin not very helpful. Money driven. I had an eye exam completed within the last year. My eyes have not changed in over 20 years. I’ve always had the same prescription. A mistake was made and the prescription was a little off. I kindly tried to explain the issue, and ask if they could change the prescription to the current prescription I have (current glasses, as well as the same prescription I’ve had for 20 years). I had a great experience at Byron Optometry today... From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming & friendly. The entire team made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. Specially Dr. Leis, She was kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Her professionalism and caring approach made my visit such a pleasant experience.
The staff were pleasant. Unfortunately I was shocked that the basic eye exam is now $173 :(
If I could leave a 0 star rating I would. This place came highly recommended, so I booked an eye exam. The doctor was professional and kind, as were the staff that assisted me with the exam. It appears the exam went beyond what is covered by OHIP, and my insurance, and I was left paying a small balance. This was never explained to me. The staff immediately suggested high end, designer frames. I found some I liked, paid, and waited a few days to pick up the glasses.
