Dr Ellis spent a considerable amount of time with me. I felt he took the time and listened to my issues, perform a thorough exam, ask questions, provided a diagnosis and recommend care plan. Dr Ellis spent the time to explain the care plan in detail, providing me the confidence I needed to agree with, and proceed with his recommendations. I would highly recommend Dr Ellis after seeing several other Orthopedic specialists in the Colorado Springs area.
Wonderful experience! Dr. Ellis was pleasant and professional. He took all the time needed to answer all my questions,. I feel confident and well-prepared for my upcoming surgery.
Other reviewers have said that Dr. Ellis was very personable and had a great bedside manner. I didn't have that experience. He showed me the xrays and explained them and manipulated the knee but he didn't seem that interested in the details of why the knee was hurting. He did give me a steroid injection so that was good, and it has helped. And hopefully the PT that he ordered will help too. So I'd give 3.5 stars if I could.
