My family and I have lived in one of Byron’s apartments for eight years now. Our apartment is spacious and airy with lots of natural light. It’s in a historic neighborhood, which also adds to the charm. The apartments are a great price, but unfortunately the buildings are old and noise travels very well. At first, my roommate and I did not see this as an issue as we felt we were getting exactly what we were paying for. If we wanted somewhere quieter, we would have paid for that. Unfortunately, other tenants did not have this understanding, and instead of committing to updating the building and insulation, Byron continuously notified us of loud "living noise" during times there was nothing going on in our apartment. EDIT 6/8/26- I wish I could leave another 5 star review. My AC went out Saturday morning and Mike took it upon himself to go out of his way to personally figure out the issue AND took time out of his day after hours to come out to my unit and see what was going on. Honestly, really great for the price. The Washington Avenue apartments are great for the price. No bugs, maintenance is insanely quick. The literal only negative is no in-unit laundry, and the shower can be a little fidgety. Otherwise, quick maintenance, no bugs, and great price and location.
I spent six exciting years on Waterman Blvd, combind with the energy of Central West End. The Byron staff are wonderful and I love the maintenance team. The Byron Company has an on call emergency person whose avaliable after business hours. I decided to upgrade my living and move into a larger apartment owned by the Byron Company.
