I had enjoyed this practice but that came into question after a friend's experience, but how could I judge when I dont know both sides? Well, now I can. I called the office on a Wednesday after I had spoken with the county health department. My cat had killed a bat and I wanted the bat tested for rabies, the health department only sends in bats that may have got a human and the vet has to do it. Byron Center doesn't know anything about that and I should call the health deparment back. I do, they specify that there is a rabie... read more

Would not recommend and will not ever recommend bringing your feline friends here. After bringing the stray my brother found to them to check for a microchip... They proceeded to preform and charge us for an ultra sound without consent, then informed us our cat might be pregnant and needed to be spayed. Fast forward to day of I get a call informing me our cat no longer may be pregnant and in fact may have already been spayed but they were unsure, isn't this something they look at on the regular? Isnt it their job to know? Bu... read more

Brendan, Thank you for your kind words about our staff and for sharing your concerns and feedback on your experience. We always want to provide our patients and clients with excellent service and understanding concerns like yours help us to improve. When we shaved her for the spay on surgery day, we saw a sc... read more

The vet and staff were so sweet. They truly love animals. Our cat had a tumor in his cheek and Dr Phoebe gave us several options for treatment. She explained the procedures and gave great follow up information.

my wife brought two of our animals in to be checked for a potential Upper Respiratory Infection. Both our cats were showing signs of a URI and we had recently adopted both of them and wanted to be sure they were healthy. When making the appointment we were asked to bring in a stool sample to check for worms stating that if one cat tested positive, all of our animals more than likely would test positive. Upon arriving we were told that each cat would be a $52 charge as a 'ne... Continue Reading

I was in the area. I am a truck driver. I had over 200 cases of dog food and treats that was rejected by a local recipient because it was the wrong products. I was told by the manufacturer to just “dispose of it” “throw it away somewhere”. Having two rescue pups myself I tried contacting the local shelters and the Animal Hospital answered my call. A awesome young lady bravely met me at the truck-stop in town and helped me off load it to her car. She promised that the local rescues and shelters would use the products. Thank y... read more
