Byron Divins is good at getting you to believe he knows all of the judges and is going to help you. I had very limited resources and trusted Byron. I was dismayed at Byron's lack of competence and his constant excuses and delays. Byron only cared about money, money and more money for himself with zero results to show for it. I put my savings on line for that crook and he stole from me. Byron is a total phony. He pretends to know everyone but doesn't. He was completely incompetent and completely wasted my time and money for months and months. The best decision I made was dropping him and switching to a real attorney who doesn't take advantage of his clients.
Byron Divins promised me that he has an "in" with all of the judges in Suffolk county. I should've known better than to trust him. He lies without remorse and doesn't care about anything else other than how he can get paid.
Byron took advantage of me. He is a horrible attorney who cares about noone but himself. Stay away at all costs.
He's expensive, unprofessional and moody. He will bill you for work that was never done. He is a fraud. I do NOT recommend Mr. Divins.
Byron Divins quit at the crucial part of the case. I was a Pro Se petitioner and worked with Byron Divins for over a month on a settlement agreement on behalf of myself against his client. Byron and I came to a settlement agreement, and I waited for over two weeks for the document to be put together by him, and he kept promising it and not delivering.
