In a Jam in July If we’re gonna have A/C problems, it’s gonna be in July here in South Mississippi. We were in a jam with 4th of July company on their way. Our downstairs unit started making a horrible loud noise. Byrd’s sent out two good techs on July 2nd who diagnosed the problem and replaced the fan motor. They were courteous and polite. The next day we noticed our upstairs unit wasn’t cooling. I was surprised Byrd’s had their people working on July 3rd. Lucky for us, the same two hard workers came out again. I don't have any experience with their work but I see their driving habits, or at least this one's. No wonder they have quick response times because they drive like maniacs. After leaving Walmart around 4:45 this evening, this one treated that van like a dragster at the light and then swerved into this turn lane at Chicot and Hwy 90 at a speed of around 55 mph then had to bring that heavy s.o.b to a stop rather abruptly. After turning onto Chicot, he flat disappeared. It's a 30 mph zone, not 55. Should have called that numbe... read more
