Technician Very professional and service 1st time using them for my service maintenance contractor I had no problems
The technician was great - once she got out here. It took over two months for me, a regular customer, to get them out here to perform summer maintenance. My initial inquiry, through their website, was ignored. Then, I got an appointment by phone - weeks out - and they cancelled it the week of the appointment. Our 1 yr old AC quit working and the local island co.who installed it failed to respond to any of the 3 phone calls we left for them seeking emergency service despite their website which says they are available 24/7.Thankfully then called Byrd.Their on call tech James called back right away and promptly arrived at our home.Inspected, diagnosed, and fixed our AC for a reasonable service charge and cost of replacement part.When the AC stopped again few hours later we called him directly and he promptly responded and fixed it a... read more
Our A/C stopped working over the Memorial Day holiday. Bryd promptly responded to our call. Although we unfortunately needed to order a part to repair the unit, James was very helpful and assured us that the A/C would be repaired as soon as possible. We are very pleased with the service we have received from Byrd HVAC.
I called Byrd a week in advance of my appointment and on the day of my appointment called three times to confirm someone would be coming. The company did not call to confirm the appointment the day before or day of. The tech never showed up nor did they call to reschedule the appointment or explain what was going on that day. When I called the next morning was told they would "squeeze" me in since they were so busy and had a full schedule. This is during a heat advisory period. Will I use Byrd again? No! WE HAVE BEEN WITH BYRD FOR OVER 12 YEARS. THEIR SERVICE AND RECOMMENDATIONS HAVE BEEN OUTSTANDING. THE SERVICEMEN LOOK BEYOND THE EQUIPMENT TO THE OPERATING ENVIROMENT. RECENTLY ONE IDENTIFIED A SMALL HOLE IN OUR ROOF OVER 75 FEET FROM WHERE HE WAS SERVICING OUR ATTIC FURNACE.
