Through ******************************* I was recommended this company to install my water heater. A year later, for a separate issue, a plumber informed us that the water heater install was "borderline criminal". It was installed without replacing an old taped vent pipe, causing a slow leak of carbon monoxide into the home. Contacting the company was useless. Customer Service is lacking. The plumber came today to unhook the toilet and he mentioned I needed to have something fixed outside and he can charge me $250.00. Then when he unhooks the toilet, the flanged is magically broken. Now he saying I have to pay $260.00 in order for him to come back. Never had a contractor try to upsell me anything. If I, could I return all this stuff to ********** I would. My water heater stopped functioning and I needed a replacement. I decided to trust the ********** recommended installer Bynum and Sons Plumbing. When I called them to install the water heater they quoted 852. I thought it was the best deal I had gotten so far, but when they arrived at my home they up charged me twice that amount for the installation. This company is an installer for *********** Within the past couple of years I have had 2 favorable experiences with their services. In 2020 I purchased a new toilet which they installed. Their workers were professional and cleaned up and hauled off the old unit and debris. The new toilet works well. In 2021, I purchased a new faucet for my kitchen. Again, their plumbers did a good job on the installation, cleaned up debris and hauled off the old faucet. I bought both items at ********** and paid there for installation. Ther... read more
One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Do not use Bynum Plumbing to install your water heater. I bought the water heater from Home Depot. Bynum installed it incorrectly. I had them come out to repair it (the basement was flooded). Called another plumber to correct the issue, Bynum did not stand behind their work. Poor workmanship and bad customer service.
RecommendedHad a water heater replaced from Home Depot and Bynum was the contractor that quickly picked up the job. Great service and picked up the new hot water heater before coming to the house.
I used different home service over the years, met good companies who gets their job done while being honest to customers, and some ok companies who just doing fine on their job but totally focused on selling unnecessary services or extra parts. However, this Bynum's plumbing, which was contracted with Home Depot and supposed to be some quality assurance, was the most dishonest company I ever met. Fast service and very helpful. Very knowledgeable and the prices were great.
Stellar company. Have worked with them on many occasions at many different properties and they have gone above and beyond expectations. Couldn’t more recommend them.
