Finally got to stop by this place today! It was all fantastic. We got a piece of "The OG" and the New York style cheese. They were both delicious. Would go again tomorrow if they were open. Also love the anime style art though out. 10/10
Great pizza by the slice place. The service was fast and friendly. The pizza was delicious. The other customers were friendly. Both the counter server and chef came around and talked to everyone. Great local independent restaurant.
I'm from New Jersey and have been in Lakeland Florida for 5 years desperately searching for any type of at least decent pizza I've tried a lot about 30 different pizza restaurants in the Lakeland area including auburndale Winter Haven and I found a couple that were okay until I found this place and my search is over these guys not only match the quality of New Jersey style pizza in my opinion their specialty pizzas surpass New Jersey pizza although they do not have a tomato pie specifically The OG Pizza is to die for along w... read more

One of the best pizzas we’ve had! The pepperoni was outstanding—crispy, flavorful, and loaded with taste. The crust had the perfect texture, and the whole pizza was cooked perfectly. You can tell they take pride in using quality ingredients. If you’re in Lakeland and love great pizza, don’t miss By The Chef Pizza. We’ll definitely be back
