I have been an Upper Providence resident for over 20 years and have been a customer of the By-Pass garage for my automotive needs. I have never had a problem with the service I have received and would recommend them to anyone. They are trustworthy and professional. I don't understand the negative ratings based on my experience.
Absolute swindlers and scumbags. They have a sign saying inspections are $35 yet they bill you separately for emissions as if Emissions and Inspections are ever done separately, then they bill you for labor and the sticker AND have the nerve to charge $30 for windshield wipers. Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t make my mistake - go to Tires Etc. in clifton heights - I got mine done there before for under $50 total for inspections and emissions- not billed separately. i work in chadds ford and drive from glenside every day. I take 476 to route 1 everyday on my way to work. This morning, as I was on 476, right before the route 1 exit, by truck started "bumping" back and forth radically. i immediately thought it may be a transmission problem, as my 08 F150 is notorious for them. currently waiting for my inspection and oil change. had 10:30 am appointment it is now 11:40am. Terrible service, never coming here again. all the employees are lazy, sit around on their ass and eat and leave. honestly who leaves the shop for a 1030 appointment. one hell of a garbage garage that's for sure.
