The beer and the atmosphere is great. Our server was great. We had two orders of shrimp tacos and a salad for $75 plus tip. 3 minimal tacos and no sides for $19 is out of line. We left hungry and poor.
Great atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent beer, but the food left room for improvement. The menu features an interesting, creative mix of mostly Mexican-inspired dishes. They were out of chicken when we came in for lunch, so I went with the shrimp tacos ($19). The filling itself was tasty, but the portion felt quite small for the price (three small tacos), and I left still feeling hungry. I recently stopped by for lunch and a drink, and was not disappointed. Plenty to choose from no matter what your preferences are. The menu was great, I went with the nachos and that was an absolute feast that I couldn’t even make a Denton by myself.
I had a meal there few years ago and the food was delicious and a server was friendly. This time the same cauliflower salad I had years ago was mostly soggy lettuce, my friend’s tacos were dry and just lacked any quality to match the price. I don’t mind paying for good quality food but that wasn’t it. The server was not very friendly and just treated us with 0 friendliness. My friend asked questions about food and drinks and he was borderline snappy. Definitely not coming back.
