For several years, dealership mechanics had not been able to find the source of both a clunking noise and a creaking noise when driving over bumps. So I finally brought my car to BWT instead. I did a short test drive to demonstrate the noises to the technician. Then he put it up on the lift, and after only a few minutes, showed me that one of my front wheels had unusual mechanical play, which was the likely source of the clunking noise.
