I’ve had ongoing issues with this nail salon, especially at check-in. The receptionist can come across as aggressive and doesn’t allow any input when asking about timing or delays, which makes the experience uncomfortable from the start. On top of that, I’ve noticed a pattern where Black women, including myself, seem to be treated differently during check-in, particularly when it comes to communication and wait times. I’ve been coming to this salon for a few years, but unfortunately, my recent experiences have made it clear that I can no longer continue as a customer. As a Black professional woman, I have repeatedly noticed a pattern in how I am treated compared to others. I absolutely love this place. It’s top notch luxury and class all the way. I had Moon do my pedicure and she was very meticulous as to how well it came out and made sure I was happy with the length of the nails, the color of the polish, and the style of the cat eye. She also opened up all the freshly sanitized tools and files, while the gentleman employee removed the plastic bowl covering and sanitized the entire chair next to me. I so highly recommend this place and Moon!
The man in the front w short black hair does not like to take gift certificates. He has given attitude, short changed my balance and only excepted one gift card at a time. This leaves you with lots of gift cards you can’t use. Don’t go there if you have a gift card the negative check out experience will ruin the relaxing mani pedi. What a waste!!!!
Quite literally the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten in my life. I just went in to get a basic manicure and I left with nail polish on the skin around my nails, bubbles dried in my nail polish, and even like some spots of my nails that had no nail polish on them. This is ridiculous.
