Hired them for a full cedar roof replacement on a house thats almost ninety years old. The roofline has a lot of character, multiple pitches and a turret section, so it wasnt a straightforward job. They handled it well. The estimator spent close to two hours on the initial visit going through the roof in detail and explaining what cedar grade he was recommending and why. JPro installed a synthetic cedar shake roof on our place and the look is spot on. from the street you would think its real wood, the color and grain pattern are really convincing. we had been comparing options with a few roofers around Bannockburn and these guys knew the most about the synthetic materials and what works best for our style of house. the finished roof sits really clean with no uneven lines or weird transitions around the valleys. changed the whole appearance of the front of the house
Had a cedar roof that was getting to the point where the shakes were splitting and falling off after every storm. Got tired of finding pieces in the yard and worrying about leaks. Talked fo a couple of companies around Glencoe and JPro was the one that actually explained why replacing with synthetic cedar made more sense long term than putting real wood back on. They did the full tear off and install and the new roof looks amazing. No more loose pieces and no more stressing every time it rains hard. Solid decision!
They brought actual samples of the synthetic shake to our first meeting, which made picking so much easier than scrolling through photos online. Got the estimate back quick and we locked in a start date without any hassle. The crew finished the job at our home in the Glencoe area in about a week, maybe a little less. Everything just felt really organized from start to finish- scheduling, materials showing up on time, cleanup at the end of each day.
