RecommendedWonderful experience ! Greeted by the GM Tim ... shown the menu and treated special since it was our first time ! The brisket melts in your mouth ... pick any side and you will be amazed ... try the Cajun corn WOW!

Awesome place. I travel to Richmond about every other month for business and this is my go to place for the real deal! Great place, awesome décor and well the food, yummy!!
I went on Friday and Unfortunately, the pulled barbecue chicken in the sandwich was huge and dry and didn’t really taste like bbq chicken. It was a lot of bristle and wasn’t hot at all. I got potato salad and i guess the mayo or something was bad because I got food poisoning that night and into saturday. It was the worst feeling ever. And to top it off when I went to get my drink a dead bug got into my cup from the dispenser! Will not be returning.

We were here from South Carolina on business and found this on Google and decided to give it a try! I’m glad we did! We had the beef ribs, chopped BBQ chicken, mac & cheese, fried corn and okra. Everything was delicious! If I ever travel to VA again, this will definitely be on our to do list!!
Awesome place, friendly people and delicious barbecue. The ribs were falling of the bone, brisket tender, Mac N Cheese on point, greens were delicious.
Delicious ribs heavy with meat that just melted in your mouth. Sides full of flavor and staff that take pride in what they do.
Eat there ever time I'm in Richmond , I live in appomattox ! My favorite place to eat !
