I signed with buyatimeshare.com on July 16, 2019. The salesperson was persuasive. We paid $600 with the assurance that my 2 blue green property was a great deal and it should sale quickly. They did call with no news for a few weeks, but said we would not hear from them unless there was an offer, as of yet we have not received one offer. Was called to tell that people are looking at the property but need to lower the price. Did that but never received an offer and no call back. Never hear from them anymore. I am very disappoi... read more

Dear Mr. ******, Please allow us to address your concerns, as we are disappointed that you have not interacted with us since October 15 and we would have been glad to address your concerns directly had you decided to contact us. BuyaTimeshare.com is an advertising service which allows timeshare owners to negotiate the sale or rental of their own property themselves, without the assistance of a real estate broker or involving any commissions. As you are aware from your written agreement with us, we are restricted by law fro... read more

We signed with Buyatimeshare.com on December 27, 2017. The salesman was persuasive, and the staff has been helpful. We paid $1995 with the assurance that our 2 bedroom Timeshare in San Antonio was a great deal and it should sale quickly. They did call with no news for a few months, but said we would not hear from them unless there was an offer, as of yet we have not received one offer. I have called them 2 or 3 times and each time their suggestion was to lower the price, which I did, this would move our condo further up in l... read more

To Whom It May Concern: The times I have spoken with staff at this company have been great. They are knowledgeable and do a great job of bringing in buyers. Here's hoping that timeshares sell as well as they claim on their website.

I listed my time share with this company since 2010. I finally closed the ad in 2017, after having worked with (and paid) another company to get rid of my timeshare. Based on the sales pitch I was given I was hopeful when I signed up, but quickly realized that was all it was...a sales pitch...paramount to a scam! To add insult to injury, after being on the site for a few weeks, I received a call with another sales pitch stating that they were sure they could get my timeshare sold if I paid for additional exposure, to which I... read more

We also fell prey to this company. Gave them $2000 to sell our "property" through an ad that we discovered later was bunched in with hundreds (at least) other ads for Wyndham. When I contacted them several times to get an update I was told we had activity on our ad, but the reality is their is activity on the general ad, not for our property. We do receive phone calls monthly suggesting we offer a lower price. This is a complete scam. We are two educated professionals and feel ridiculous we fell for this.

Business response:

We are very sorry you feel this way regarding our services, especially since our records indicate that there have been 66 people who have visited your specific ad in the few months it has been live on our site. We see that there have been two offers made to buy your timeshare, one in January and one this month, so our services have resulted in buyer activity for you. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Complete scam. They take your money and that is the last time you hear from them. The ad they make is garbage and no one goes to this site to buy a timeshare. Total racket. I blame myself for not doing my research before giving them my credit card number. None of these "We sell timeshares" will do what they claim. Lawyer up and find a way to cancel your timeshare, selling it on the "open market" is not possible because there is NO timeshare resale market.

Business response:

Dear Mr. *****, as you have only emailed us on Feb 27th saying that we had a 30-day window to discuss this matter with you before you would post online complaints, we are very disappointed that you did not provide us with the opportunity to discuss this matter with you prior to this post. Regarding your statement "that is the last time you hear from them" after your ad purchase, our records show that we attempted to contact you through email or phone on four separate occasions to provide you with the steps necessary to give ... read more

I was looking to use this company to sell my timeshare, the sales person that i spoke to was totally rude and condescending. He pushed his conversation on me like i was completely stupid and wasted his time. He even quoted incorrectly the amount of time i wasted with him. I sure hope these calls are recorded so they hear how their employees talk to potential customers. I don't think they are. I don't recall me being advised the call being recorded which legally they have to state when the conversation starts.

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback as we are always working to improve our skills when conversing with current and future customers. We apologize for the way you were spoken to and have reprimanded the advertising representative you spoke with, also using it as a training opportunity for him. Our Customer Service Manager has left several messages with you this week to ensure you are satisfied with our latest offer and interaction, so please reach out to us at your earliest convenience.

Wish I had never heard of this company. Waste of my time and money. Yes, they provide you with an ad. That is it. I could have listed it on ebay for free for what this company offers. How many people see that ad is probably equal to the number of people deciding what to sell their own timeshare for. One offer in 10 months for $1. Read the fine print about "money back guarantee" as well. If YOU sell it without the use of their site is the only way it works and even then, there are stipulations. Thanks for the education guys.

Business response:

We are very concerned that you are not satisfied with your decision to work with us. Our records show that you have received 43 visitors to your advertisement, which shows our marketing efforts have resulted in traffic to your ad. Further, our records indicate that the profile page for Bluegreen Laurel Crest Resort had 1484 views for just the month of November, 2017. We have even given you our Featured Properties status until January 31, 2018 to help attract even more views to your ad. Our staff is dedicated to working with ... read more
